Despicable. So much for “Thank you for your service.”
NYT: My savings is gone,” said Scott Willoughby, a 63-year-old Army vet who lives on SocSec in a Dallas suburb. He nearly emptied his savings to pay the $16,752 electric bill charged to his cc-70x what he usually pays for all of his utilities combined. “...t’s broken me.”

This is unacceptable. After gross negligence causing life-threatening conditions state-wide while the officials responsible ignored the situation, they decide to hand off the utility costs to customers. How dare they. The state must pay, and reimburse the clients they've fleeced

It’s only despicable if you’re not paying attention and continually covering for the crooks. They’ve been describable since I was 10 and I’m 62. And you all are STILL playing the “OMG we have to get the OTHER criminal out” game.

It's too early in the morning for me to get this angry. So I'm going to pray for this man and for the company who did this to him, then I'm going to come up with a practical response that actually helps people.

If you want to know how much we value veterans, here you go. "Thank you" indeed.

"Thank you for your service, but nobody owes you anything!" - Tim Boyd, probably.

I appreciate his service. But no human being, service or not, should comply with this madness. Period

.@marwilliamson Barbara Lee just asked “What would monthly survival checks mean to you and your family?” again tonight and I think it’s broken me.

The worldwide political & economic powers that be are resembling 18th century aristocrats. May we all rise up and reclaim our powerful love of our fellow humans
