The president of the US this evening paid a visit to the apartment of Bob Dole, who three times sought that office and was the GOP nominee in 1996. At 97, Dole has Stage 4 lung cancer and starts treatment Monday. Imagine what it meant to him to have this show of respect.
How about some decency doing policy to help people in real need and getting the hell out of countries where we don’t belong? Trump was an ass but this facade of “decency” with lack of follow through to common people is what got him elected. What did Bob Dole ever accomplish?
