How right you are, Congressman.
Senators making $174,000/year shouldn't get to tell any worker that they deserve $7.25/hour.

I don't think anyone is telling anyone they deserve any amount. It is up to the individual to make how much they want. Improve their skills and look for better opportunities.

$15 per hour ... NOW!

Tie Congress pay raises to minimum wage pay raises.

The problem with the minimum age issue is the inherent flaw in the American political psyche that simply does not recognize grey areas. $15 per hour is barely existence wage in NYC but in rural Arkansas or West Virginia it might drive small businesses out of business.

Oh, I'm sure they have an answer and would have no problem conveying it with straight face.. It's been going on for longer than you and I. It will also continue to go on, until they are all voted out and a new generation takes there places. New and broader ideas are needed.

Not only that, they clearly haven't been doing there jobs based on the messes we are continuing to witness almost daily. What do we pay them for, exploiting their positions to make more money.

They don't tell them that, but no 1 should be paid 15 per hour for any entry level position
The same principle should apply to health care. Senators who have great health care should not tell Americans they can't get sick without going bankrupt.
