Politicians often refer to “middle class” or “working class,” but infrequently say “the poor.” Perhaps it’s too confronting; why in the richest country in the world are so many poor? They discuss poverty like it’s a “social problem” when in fact it’s the scourge of so many lives.

There are only 2 classes. The working class and the capitalist class. It is defined based off of our relationships to money. The working class sells its labor the the capitalist. The capitalist have money to buy the means of production then they exploit the working class.

Like @CornelWest says, if only the war on poverty was a real war, bc then they'd invest money into it!

We need to educate the Country just like you did when you were campaigning ... every state has lots of poor and lots of children that go to bed hungry at night! ... That wouldn't be allowed in any European Country!

It’s outrageous that the Dems haven’t gotten rid of the filibuster yet. As far as I’m concerned, they’re complicit in allowing a $7.25 to stand. The #fightfor15 started about 5 years ago too. The min wage should be $25/hr by now. @COSTCO, will you raise your wage to $25/hr?🙏

It’s not a surprise...those are the politicians that take money FROM the people to run a campaign and take money FROM the people for their salary when elected...and claim any money FOR the people is socialism...
