But only now do we have a global infrastructure so vulnerable to it, technology so brilliant by which to deal with it, or human behavior that exacerbates it. The “it’s been happening forever” argument is old and stale.

Neither old nor stale, as IPCC has had to downgrade their estimates 11-13 times already and this Warming Cycle has been remarkably constant. Warming/Cooling Cycles can be expected to last 200 to 600 years
