From NASA: Sunset and twilight images are occasionally acquired by the science team to determine how high into the atmosphere the Martian dust extends, and to look for dust or ice clouds. /1
Not meaning to split hairs but this photograph is from the Rover 2005 mission. The atmosphere on Mars is primarily CO₂ at a pressure of 10 millibars. That's 1% of the pressure at Earth's sealevel. As a result, their sunsets are tinged blue.
Brings to mind my earliest memories of the Moon landing, a true sense of proportion (we are so, so small), and the immense value of maintaining a sense of wonder.
