We’re making it all about him, but the deeper issue is what has happened in this country that someone like that would ever be elected a US Senator. It’s not as funny or disgusting as it is painful.

Because he is just so crass and so utterly devoid of even the most common denomination of common sense that all anyone can do is talk about him. Texans have a lot of work to do, and he cannot be allowed to stay in office. None of the privateers should.

Cruz was wrong. So was Pelosi in her hair saloon. And Newson in the restaurant. And Cuomo sending sick covid patients to nursing homes. Hunter in Ukraine. Biden withholding funds to fire prosecutor...the list is endless I looked. I haven’t seen one condemnation of any of them.

As I tried to say! 👍🏼 Stop accepting these loathsome humans as your ELECTED representatives! Demand better!

It was predictable. It is still downright painful. There’s also a bit of a pillory & town square tomato throw thing going on with these jokes. Better than opioids but still not sober enough if he stays in office.

There is no reasonable way to construe Ted Cruz taking his family to Cancun as bad or wrong.

It honestly makes it difficult to extend grace to the egos that voted for him and will support him moving forward. I suppose you can forgive those people and move on but when their ineptitude and laziness impacts you, your home, future .. then what?

Running for office has become about hurting/punishing the other side. What happened to service & helping.

*Again* you hut a home run with me. You're absolutely right. This is not about a man who could care less about our outrage. It's about the forces of human nature that put him in a position of power - instead of Beto !!! Beto, who offered a screaming contrast to Cruz yesterday.

Let’s recognise that the scale of corruption is ENORMOUS and give thanks for its rapid exposure to the light. Question everything!
