A Neoliberal Lament, in Poetry and Pain:
I still don’t know how some people are going to make it without the $2k/mo checks coming in. The eerie, almost surreal silence around it now is the sound of people’s hope turned into despair turned into fury turned into hopelessness turned into resignation turned into tears.

I wasn't accusing, but you think not? (I know you are opposed) Reread it and tell me what you feel. It feels poignant in that framing - neoliberal pain.

It had to spring from somewhere. I meant "neoliberal" more as the locus of our pain, not like anything you were expressing as 'true'. ;-) I still think it was poetry.
