This is capitalism completely disconnected from any ethical consideration. Charging people in Texas more for energy right now is morally criminal - especially since they have none! And no, this is not “just the way things are.”

My daughter and I were just discussing her electric bill yesterday. How they charge more when demand goes up. It’s pure greed. They are already making more when people use more. There’s no way to justify this.
