No one should consider the danger behind us.
Trump can still be barred from holding office again under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which barricades anyone from office who has “engaged in insurrection”. All we need is a simple majority vote of both houses. There's absolutely no excuse for the Democrats not to do this.

I am amazed how people think the 14th Amend thing for Trump by simply majority is possible. See major opinion US vs Powell where the Supreme Court determined a Confederate Judge was not in the wrong. BTW: Confederate soliders were pardoned not civilians cite.case.law/f-cas/27/605/?…

Numerous law suits already filed against Trump & others part of his election fraud lies. The development of a January 6 insurrection commission should bring evidence to convict all. However, I agree dems should vote to ban him. Unless it creates legal barriers to the former.
