Our current healthcare **payor** system is a modern iteration of feudalism. It’s primary function is to extract massive streams of passive income for the “Lord’s” who run/benefit from it.
ACA/private health insurance in a nutshell: Imagine this ultra wealthy guy shows up at the end of every medical appointment you’ll ever have. He doesn’t provide healthcare. He didn’t give you a ride to your appt. He doesn’t even work in the office where you’re being seen.🧵1/
