Re taking “stepping stones” to universal health care: Do we take “stepping stones” to increased military spending or “stepping stones” to tax cuts for the richest? Do not apologize for wanting - or expecting - what the citizens of every other advanced democracy take for granted.

Why do people keep referring to the US as a democracy? We live in a plutocracy.

Please help out Country #LearnMMT, are you there Marianne? Do you understand #MMT
I have been hearing this for decades. Been marching with nurses, M4A, and every other group still no progress. Time for a new plan.

Yes! I am tired of these baby steps. Time to be bold. Except it’s not even really bold. It just normal in most countries.

As a paramedic in NYC for last 18 years I’ve witnessed too many people delay care due to lack of insurance.Recently had 35 year old man rationing insulin cause he couldn’t afford it.He died needlessly. You’re right money for wars not meds.We are a shell of a nation.

I’m on Medicare and love the fact that I have my healthcare paid and don’t worry about getting a bill. It wasn’t that hard to join, and I believe the government can be ready to handle the rest of Americans. No stepping stones.

It's clear that handing the industry that lobbies against universal healthcare massive amount of money through a private insurance mandate is the opposite of a stepping stone toward universal healthcare.

#TriCare4All is what we want. It's the healthcare insurance for America's heroes. Currently available only to service folk and their families. It's designed to get people back in service and not deny care. Nothing is too good for our heroes and that's us too!

There's an old expression, "vote with your feet." The U.S. does not have socialized medicine; as you correctly stated, a lot of other countries do...move to one of them.
