Re taking “stepping stones” to universal health care: Do we take “stepping stones” to increased military spending or “stepping stones” to tax cuts for the richest? Do not apologize for wanting - or expecting - what the citizens of every other advanced democracy take for granted.

“Be careful what you wish for.” Never more applicable. 1. Americans will never tolerate the level of care offered in Europe. (It made me come home) 2. Imposing Govt care on millions like me that don’t want a broken D.C. having the power over our health isn’t a moral position.

You assume this is an advanced democracy. This is an empire. Empires can’t afford healthcare because this one in particular has 1000 military bases around the world that it has to take care of and genocidal allies’ healthcare it has to pay for.

If we put just ... A FRACTION ... of the time and money ... that we are currently putting into Defense and Tax Cuts for the Rich ... into a Universal Healthcare system ... We would have ... by far ... the best Healthcare System in the World ...

Medicare For All is a defeated policy. People want the choice of private health insurance.

If healthcare is positioned as a utility rather than a luxury, then universal healthcare makes perfect sense.
