The profit motive should have no place in these three areas: 1) healthcare, 2)reporting the news, and 3)the defense industry. Our world would be an infinitely better place if in those three areas profit were removed from the equation.

4profit in defense could also be good, some excellent companies out there but there's no #DefenseMedicare so they fleece the taxpayers daily. @SASCGOP @SASCDems @HASCRepublicans @HASCDemocrats are revolving dooe & terrible at cost control so corp CEO's play them like a harp

My #RestoringTrueFreedom tax&budget gives plenty of FICA bucks for SS&MediCARE 4all workers. Taxes (CG-CPI) as Earned income at higher top personal rates. Works w/o screwing up the Medicare workers earned. Better chance of happening. I like Joe's plan to lower the age, good start

By who?If by government, the profit motive would be passed to the politician rather than the executive. Politicians would profit the same way they do now,by accepting donations to their campaign from lobbyists and corp interests. Naïve to think you can eliminate the profit motive.

Then expect these three areas to be disastrous as the profit motive is the only thing keeping any industry competitive and accountable.
