The profit motive should have no place in these three areas: 1) healthcare, 2)reporting the news, and 3)the defense industry. Our world would be an infinitely better place if in those three areas profit were removed from the equation.

What if we can do some political jujitsu and let investors/industry profit from advancing climate solutions converting X % of defence contracts to climate saving rewnewable energy contracts?

If you prohibit profit for reporting the news, you reduce incentive to challenge those with political power. Without the profit motive for defense, we have already seen the political promotion of war, to increase political power and rent seekers' wealth.

The idea of profit is killing our entire planet. We should strive to thrive in balance, not be in a state of constant growth and expansion. Capitalism is a death cult, bent of destroying the world.

I'd add education and essential resources such as water and electricity. Too important for some capitalist to be leeching resources from.
