Anger as a political motivation is like white sugar; it gives you an adrenaline high but then you crash. Love as a political motivation is genuine nourishment; it’s slower coming on, more time-released, but ultimately provides much greater strength and staying power.

The people that voted for trump did so out of love. The people that voted for Biden did so out of hate for trump.

With respect, this sounds nice but is a bit backwards. Those who *love* a political movement are generally those who would fall under the trance of cults of partisan personalities. It’s the sober ones who could prevail if voters could express hate of such snake-oil salesmen.

Fear is white sugar being spoon fed to anger addicts. Only through fear is anger leveraged. Unless the flow of empty, addictive stimuli is stemmed, (redirected) love will always be covered, held from access, by those dangerous deadly distractions, powdered white or not.
