The revolution we need has already begun; it’s in its infancy but it’s growing. It’s a revolution of consciousness: that the way it is is not the way it has to be. And a revolution of heart: that love should guide politics and economics as well as every other aspect of life.

As @CornelWest puts it "Love is what justice looks like in public." We need a radical shift towards justice, compassion, empathy, and human decency while holding powerful people/ corporations accountable.

I love your optimism, I truly do. And I hope against hope that it comes to pass. But, history takes us in a different, and all too familiar, direction. These kinds of chronic, systemic abuses do produce revolutions...but they typically all involved blood, death, and cruelty.

I am an idealist in this way also. If we can imagine a world operating with good as its core value, and live that way ourselves, it must be possible for others, in fact most/all others to live in kindness too. I am ready and open to make this happen one person/heart at a time.❤️
