.@KamalaHarris has written a WaPo op ed calling unemployment among women a national emergency. True. And there's a great solution too - $2k/mo retroactive to beginning of pandemic & extending for 3 mo. afterwards. (We're counting on you to try to persuade your boss, Madame V-P!)

I believe that women will drive and lead the way to an equitable worldwide health care system I envisage as Global Health Care Equivalency (GHCE). linkedin.com/pulse/women-lea…@JoeBiden @Nanoappsm @tantriclens @HeinzVHoenen @AOC @BernieSanders @yokoono @WHO @UN @CDCgov @500WIM
This seems like a good time to remind @VP about the $2,000/mo bill she co-sponsored with @SenSanders and @SenMarkey back in May. Would be great if she discussed & fought for the legislation that she believed in as a senator now that’s she’s #VPHarris.
Today I’m introducing a bill with @BernieSanders and @EdMarkey to provide $2,000 monthly payments to people during—and for three months after—this crisis. A one-time payment is not enough. politico.com/news/2020/05/08…

We'll just create that money and drop it right into there accounts. Then the buying power of that money will drop as quickly as you create it and the government is off the hook.
Marianne, help me with this, $2,000 a month from the government doesn't do anything to help employment. They need jobs to cut the unemployment. Am I missing something? Jobs give people personal satisfaction. Why is this a solution?
NO. WE need to quit with the handouts and get people back to work!
I don’t trust her for a second
Does government debt even matter?
