Abolitionists didn’t know *how* it could happen, suffragettes didn’t know *how* it could happen and civil rights workers didn’t know *how* it could happen. They just knew they were going to *make* it happen. And that’s the grit that we need now: fascism will not stand in America.

I think if he had been given a second term there’s a very good chance we would’ve lost that right. And he tried to overturn the election, remember.

I just don’t see it. We had a president who didn’t accept election results—alright, he’s out of office, and 7 senators of his own party voted to convict (0 Dem senators have ever voted to convict a Dem). Tbh I think most of the rhetoric around “fascism” is just fearmongering
