That's a nice dream. But it's also true that The Nazi Party in Germany rose to power after being rejected once and making a come back. Political corruption is alive and well in the USA.
Abolition didn’t emerge from either major political party, women’s suffrage didn’t emerge from either major political party & the civil rights movement didn’t emerge from either major political party. They happened when the people stepped in. And that’s what’s going to happen now

Just like slavery was once alive & well in America, institutionalized oppression of women was once alive & well in America, & segregation was once alive & well in America. We have a lot of work to do; no one here is naive about that. I’m just saying I think we’re going to do it.
