Abolition didn’t emerge from either major political party, women’s suffrage didn’t emerge from either major political party & the civil rights movement didn’t emerge from either major political party. They happened when the people stepped in. And that’s what’s going to happen now

That’s true. But also we’re lacking a person/party to channel the energy for a change and the time is running out. Ds just mightily launched Trump2024 :((
Except we can't boycott since we don't want millions to lose their already shaky jobs, and all protestors will be classified as domestic terrorist so the police can be extra happy to brutalize us, and by purging all the prisoners, they'll have lots more room to keep us chained.

It certainly needs to happen, but whether it's going to happen depends on us getting out there and making it happen
You always help when we need it most- and are almost always correct...

Those were single issues. There are so many fouls being committed by the oligarchy now that the energy is effectively diffused. What's the core issue mow? I vote money in politics.

Abolition, women's suffrage, labor, civil rights were, however, all associated with minor political parties, some of which had a major impact on their development.
