Something new is going to be born from all this. The entire system as it now exists is decrepit, lacking the moral force needed to stand up to systemic injustices that have corroded its soul. The whole thing is going to crack open now and something amazing is going to come forth.

You are correct, but I confess, I fear what will come. The birth of new political eras is more often than not attended by violence and cruelty inflicted by the dying old era, more intense than ever just before its passing. We are many, but they are mighty, and they hate us.

That's not how this works. None of this is clumsy. None of this is unintentional. None of this is accidental. There are ZERO repercussions for DC politics. There is no accountability. Stop focusing on DC and promote worker organization. DC is a dead end.
