The acquittal was not surprising but it’s still shocking. The corruption is staggering but the story not over; the people of the U.S. will find a way to handle this. How sad that those Senators chose not to handle it today.

The #TrumpImpeachmentTrial & his acquittal present an unprecedented honesty test that applies across the US - I don't know any previous occasion of an accurate general integrity test - anyone holding the view that Trump was not guilty on the evidence, is dishonest. Simple as that
