The acquittal was not surprising but it’s still shocking. The corruption is staggering but the story not over; the people of the U.S. will find a way to handle this. How sad that those Senators chose not to handle it today.

So right 😢 Investigations will need to go on for years, no doubt. We need to get to the truth. Meanwhile, Biden needs to pass the biggest COVID relief he can and do good things the people will feel ASAP

Not surprising - but heartbreaking. I'm disillusioned.

What does Trump have on them? There is no doubt about how things went down and that he is guilty. I know there is justice and balance in the universe but it would have been healing and comforting to see that truth had more weight in the Senate.

McConnell and Graham don’t go up for re-election for 6 years. This will unfortunately be forgotten by then and they will probably win. Ted Cruz is TX so he will win again. Hard to fight with stupid but I guess we have to try if we want a better world for our children.

The Democrats fumble on witnesses at the end was truly shocking. Many are pissed.

Since the writing of the Bible there have been battles of good vs evil. Ultimately good always prevails. We must cling to this ideal and not lose hope.

It is surely a sad day to see the lack of integrity and truth in so many republicans. The world is a scary place. I pray for the US people!
