Love works preventatively more than anything else. And love says "No" when it's appropriate to say "No". A loving parent will say no if the child wants to do something that's bad. So yeah, there's a place for brute force, justice etc. - I agree.

It's the difference between anger & moral outrage. Moral outrage is born of love; Jesus turning over tables of money changers etc. Spirituality doesn't make you less astute, less smart, less committed etc. But it makes you able to endure more evil & more powerfully transform it.
