Dem impeachment managers did a great job and Trump’s responsibility for the riot is proven beyond all reasonable doubt. Senators who vote to acquit can hide behind their constitutional argument all they want but in truth a vote for acquittal is a vote to allow it to happen again.

I hoped the Dem impeachment managers would’ve addressed the idea that the Republican senators who vote to acquit are protecting themselves from Trumps wrath instead of voting their conscience. I wish the managers would have addressed that more with them.

I think most of the @SenateGOP simply doesn't care. They're just bummed it didn't work. All research shows that the @GOP has turned against democracy and has become a far right authoritarian outlier, an autocratic Party. There's only one Party that defends democracy in America.

The senator should be held to the same standards as everyone else. If we were impartial jurors we couldn’t walk out or meet with the defense team to strategize.
