Dem impeachment managers did a great job and Trump’s responsibility for the riot is proven beyond all reasonable doubt. Senators who vote to acquit can hide behind their constitutional argument all they want but in truth a vote for acquittal is a vote to allow it to happen again.

Proven beyond all reasonable doubt? I hope you’re going to listen to Trump’s defence team and the evidence they present.

He is “responsible” for the riot? There are very good reasons why incitement is limited in time and req explicit language. Dems are arguing the 1stAm is not applicable We will further shred the Const as we did post 9/11 to reach the desired outcome. So myopic

Reasonable doubt is not the standard.

Common Sense calls for impeachment, as Raskin said. Herein lies the problem.

I'm convinced R Senators (who vote to acquit) have & will perpetuate the big lie (& others) and protect the malevolent despot so they don't have to give up their paychecks. No accountability to their constituents (telling the truth), no protection of our democracy. Small people.

Impeachment acquittal #1 unleashed Trump - “I can act with impunity.” What is the lasting impact of trial #2? Does this finish him off or restart his engine? What does this do to the power of his base? Increase or decrease it? Does this accelerate the neutering of their impact?
