Dem impeachment managers did a great job and Trump’s responsibility for the riot is proven beyond all reasonable doubt. Senators who vote to acquit can hide behind their constitutional argument all they want but in truth a vote for acquittal is a vote to allow it to happen again.

Impeachment does nothing to prevent it from happening again. All politicians are guilty of inciting violence. Impeach them all or none of them.

If only sound reason could motivate GOP senators driven by greed & power. We may peel off one or two, not likely we'll get the 17 but it's possible. What is clear that we are seeing the power 'desires' have over us to motivate human behavior, even to trample over facts & reason.

Yes, and if we're unlucky, by the same person! He needs to be barred, otherwise this could absolutly happen again, should he come to power and once again not get his will! I still believe that secret ballots are the solution.
