Fascism will not stop itself. Inertia means the tendency of an object to move in whatever direction it’s already moving - until it is met with a counterforce. Senators who think they don’t need to convict Trump because “he would never be elected again” are fooling themselves.

Marianne uses the word "fascist" a lot. I'm convinced she has no idea what it means since it is the left who are banning books, getting people fired, advocating gov't controls, threatening reeducation camps, doxing and outing Trump supporters. THAT is fascism my friends.

In or out of office, Trump will continue to fundraise to elect or destroy candidates. Those Senators who refuse to convict have zero integrity.
Except the only thing they should be considering is the evidence that proves the allegation - which amazingly after 3 days has not been what the House team has presented them with.
Punishment for wrong doing is fundamental to our system of justice. No mulligans again.

I interpret this as Dems shirking their own responsibilities to such a degree that they’d rather lead the American people on a wild goose chase for boogeymen than face their own fundamental inadequacies. To put it mildly.

I would be more worried about the totalitarians running the country now, than a former president.

Democrats got you covered with their counterforce of Authoritarian Imperialism, don’t worry Marianne.

Now that Trump mask is off, the GOP scares me much more than anything else in the Western hemisphere ... the choleric narcissist was kind of blurring the real rot of this entire autocratic corpse, scary shit
