Fascism will not stop itself. Inertia means the tendency of an object to move in whatever direction it’s already moving - until it is met with a counterforce. Senators who think they don’t need to convict Trump because “he would never be elected again” are fooling themselves.

I agree but you cannot eliminate fascism without addressing contributory factors e.g. historically they are corporatism, suppression of labor power, conservative economic programs, opposition to parliamentary democracy and to political n cultural liberalism etc. We’re in trouble
