Kudos to the Democrats prosecuting their case at the impeachment trial. They’re doing an extraordinary job. Watching how hard our Capitol police were trying to protect the Capitol, with no help and at such risk, is heartbreaking. It’s important for the country to see all this.

Whether or not Trump is convicted (I don’t think it has to be “beyond a reasonable doubt” in an impeachment trial. We might need Justice Amy C Barrett for that decision) Getting the terrifying facts on the historical record is important.
There are so many more important things that our representatives should be busy with in the middle of a pandemic and economic disaster. This is a disgusting waste of resources.
Why was or who in charged nicked these request for national guards backup prior to January 6th, this was not the case in the recent #BlackLivesMatter marches.

I love you, @marwilliamson, but there's something wrong with this picture. Lack of security is typical when they want something to happen. JFK, MLK, RFK, 9/11. The amazing thing is so little really happened...but enough for Patriot Act 2.0.

Maybe it is important for the ppl to see it, but the Senate is trying DT for incitement, not the rioters for mayhem etc. After establishing that violence occurred, video of the crowd on the way to the Capitol might better address the question of incitement.

Of course the Capitol Police were completely understaffed because they only saw leftists as threats.

Does anybody wonder why a big angry mob was able to gather and menace & a fleet of riot police were not summoned in minutes? Is THAT how the world's greatest military power protects its seat of Government? NO ONE finds that curious? Really?
