Kudos to the Democrats prosecuting their case at the impeachment trial. They’re doing an extraordinary job. Watching how hard our Capitol police were trying to protect the Capitol, with no help and at such risk, is heartbreaking. It’s important for the country to see all this.

Some were trying to protect the Capitol, yes. Others opened fences for them and took selfies. And it was the failures of the top brass that led to the security failures in the first place.
