A $15 minimum wage would lift almost a million people out of poverty. There is something cruel about the fact that it’s even open for discussion.
A $15 min wage would cut 1.4 million jobs and remove 900,000 people from poverty. How could losing jobs eliminate poverty? Those "lost" jobs are actually 2nd jobs needed to make ends meet. 1 good job at $15/hour is better than 2 bad ones at $7.25/hour nbcnews.com/politics/joe-bid…

Do they go into how many jobs would open up because people working two, three, or even four jobs wouldn't need as many anymore?

Hello Marianne, As you probably already know, here in Switzerland we recently voted for a CH 25 minimum wage. This may, in the future, change the lives of many. As to how to manage such a situation fairly without putting the money bears in a bad mood remains to be seen.

Love your voice, however you are so off the mark with your math or common sense here Marianne. #SpoutingStupid #DayDreamer

$15 an hour is still too little and keeps so many people in relative poverty.
