A $15 minimum wage would lift almost a million people out of poverty. There is something cruel about the fact that it’s even open for discussion.
A $15 min wage would cut 1.4 million jobs and remove 900,000 people from poverty. How could losing jobs eliminate poverty? Those "lost" jobs are actually 2nd jobs needed to make ends meet. 1 good job at $15/hour is better than 2 bad ones at $7.25/hour nbcnews.com/politics/joe-bid…

And it would eliminate between 1.3 and 3.7 million jobs according to the CBO. #BadDeal

The Congressional Budget Office analysis says that the $15 minimum wage would kill over a million jobs.

Marianne, the same study says it will also cost 1.4 million jobs within 5 years. Mostly unskilled labor. It will also increase the deficit 54 billion in 10 years. That is why it deserves discussion

I think darrow-minded people like price also forget the fact that 60% of America works in either hospitality or retail and of that 60% 60% of them are part-timers needing at least two jobs $15 an hour doubles the job openings in 60% of America. Fact
Except for the part where all the below minimum employees will be replaced by touch-screens and have no wage at all.

It’s pretty fascist that the White House turns off the comments on YouTube.

It would not. $31k/yr is poverty in 2021 let alone 2025. #AbolishtheWage.
