I’ve spent time among the very very poor and I’ve spent time among the very very rich. The gap that exists there should not exist. Some have so much money they honestly don’t know what to do with it, and others have so little money they honestly don’t know what to do.

We need a #WealthTax: 2% on $50M and over, plus an additional 1% on billionaires. Everyone knows it. One of the wealthiest men I’ve ever known once said to me, “My taxes are so low it’s obscene.”

What's up with the tax BS? Local government DOES need taxes under current system but Federal Govt most definitely does NOT ..debt is the feedstock for the money which is why Federal Reserve under Greenspan was so worried that the debt was getting paid off...no debt= no money

Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.

I absolutely agree ... That huge pile of wealth needs to slide back down to where people are living, working and trying to survive!

So obviously knowing is not enough. There has to be emotional human recognition/association. See Chris Hedges morals and markets lecture. Wilhelm Reich: mass psych. of fascism, people in trouble, w/feldenkrais atm experience, gerson/wigmore diet, myss spirit/experience.
We need balance. Imbalance is today’s metaphor. 1% equals 99%. Doesn’t make sense in the land of equality.

Nah, we need 90% over $10 million, and 100% over a billion. $10 mil is enough to live comfortably in perpetuity, anything more than that can only be used to corrupt society.

This is just anecdotes supporting the government seizure of assets — which is what you’re proposing

Why wouldn't a wealthy person want to help? Why? What's the point in having everything if you cannot be useful? If you are not being useful are you really happy?

Why not just FairTax reform? Where each individual has a choice to either save their money or be charged high taxes on high ticket items. It's incredibly simple yet.......(?)
