I’ve spent time among the very very poor and I’ve spent time among the very very rich. The gap that exists there should not exist. Some have so much money they honestly don’t know what to do with it, and others have so little money they honestly don’t know what to do.

We need a #WealthTax: 2% on $50M and over, plus an additional 1% on billionaires. Everyone knows it. One of the wealthiest men I’ve ever known once said to me, “My taxes are so low it’s obscene.”

Palm Beach, I've stated to fund open arms program, this way no transplant family should ever go homeless. There are so few pediatric transplant family's, the charity should be well funded. Sigh.
Some did not earn their money but stole it through fraudulent investment schemes as US government ignored Security Fraud laws due to corruption in the courts that ignore their Ethical Codes. This ignorance will be remedied as Disbarment #trends.

Improving the standard of living at every level is the best way to fix this and in fact that has happened in the US over the last 200 years.

We need an educated public and an empathetic politic. Teaching love and empathy isn’t weak, it’s part of the necessary evolution of mankind to live sustainably in our inter-connected world.

Well, Marianne, no one has been in a better position to raise the moral conscience of the rich, to inspire them to awaken their sense of public duty. I always wished you'd used your training in ACIM to this end... instead of brow beating the Dem party and trying to become POTUS.

We need to move away from money altogether towards something like a #ResourceBasedEconomy.
