So many tortured tweets from people begging for help desperate for a 1-time check that’s a fraction of what other govts r giving their citizens to get thru this. Some seriously cold & callous econ advisors should be ashamed of themselves. No American should have to beg for crumbs

About $2000 US per month since May last year in Australia. Impossible to comprehend that the richest country in the world will do so little for its people

Exactly. What burden is it on the wealthy when no matter what they will remain in extraordinary wealth? youtube.com/4Y-jubICRrQ

Sadly, all the shame has been abraded away by decades of corporate and rich money funding think tanks and policy wonks advocating these terrible, immoral, selfish, and evil philosophies and practices. Fully internalized into both parties

The same people don’t have a problem giving wealthy people money they don’t need in massive tax cuts, are the same people who refuse to give money to the people hurting the most in our Country, most Republicans are despicable human beings !

I wonder if this is what Rome felt like before the fall. Power and wealth has insulated the 1% to such an extent that they're blind to reality. Corruption is so rampant that the only goal appears to be to steal as much and as fast as you can.

They wouldn't get to be economic advisors in this little failed state of ours if they had any shame to begin with.

It is so dismissive and the American people feel that! Believe me! It shows how much our government values money, war and power and how little their value human life and dignity, peace and justice. Keep your word and take care of your people. If you do not..hypocrisy will proceed

In Australia many employees with less or no work, millions of people, got $1800 every 2 weeks for three months, then $1200 for the next six months continuing. I can't believe how callous the USA is, it's supposed to be a wealthy nation.
