No American should have to be begging their government for enough money to feed their kids. And no political leader who has never had to skip a meal should have the audacity to say no to them.

I know many people who need to feed and shelter their families NOW! Not March. Not April. Interesting how the US government can move fast when they want to help corporations but slow when it's comes to taking care of the people who elected them. We will not forget! TY Marianne

Simply not federal government's role. Local. Where are the town selectmen, the city councils. It really the churches that are most effective with donations of time and goods. Make it easier for them by lifting much of federal tax burdens.

Living like the poorest member of your district for 2 months prior to being seated should be a requirement of both houses of congress

Each state, and further down to each lottle town has a food pantry. Major food chains donate lots of food, our inner city schools feed our children. The government needs to protect our borders not our dinner plate.

Let kids go back to school and let people get back to work, then, so they can earn a living and feed themselves and their families. It’s not that complicated.
