Even before pandemic,40% of Americans had trouble covering basic costs & 62% could not be deemed middle class. Govt should be rushing in to rescue people, not acting as though giving them just enough to survive is some act of great largess. $15/hr, $2k/mo is justice, not charity.

Gov't support is a start. We must use that initial investment to build a system that provides the tools to seed, root, grow & sustain the wealth locally. @FuturestoryATX helps shape & define the story, 214 Alpha activates it and the community owns it. antifragileplaybook.com/

For real.... I feel like I'm stuck in place, you should get into the business of offering long term loans to average Americans looking to become debt free. The banking/finance system as a whole makes it near impossible for those at bottom to get a lifeline.

*universal* $2k/mo is justice. Continuing the use of crappy means testing only allows more Americans to fall through the cracks. If we must worry about "spending too much", tax it on the back end with next year's tax season.

Our electoral and mainly political systems lack a #humanitarian gene.

Lol. You're interesting yet delusional. I'm all for a basic income because it puts responsibility back on the individual. You blow it on something stupid your family doesn't eat, your lights get turned off because you lose that backstop. You have to blame the man in the mirror

How can any of us remain hopeful things will get better? or that our government will help us? Just devastating.
