Even before pandemic,40% of Americans had trouble covering basic costs & 62% could not be deemed middle class. Govt should be rushing in to rescue people, not acting as though giving them just enough to survive is some act of great largess. $15/hr, $2k/mo is justice, not charity.

Agreed, but Justice would look more like M4A (like they did for Libby Montana), a retroactive UBI (16k plus 2k/month) & $25/hour which is a little closer to an actual Living Wage. prospect.org/day-one-agenda/…
