Even before pandemic,40% of Americans had trouble covering basic costs & 62% could not be deemed middle class. Govt should be rushing in to rescue people, not acting as though giving them just enough to survive is some act of great largess. $15/hr, $2k/mo is justice, not charity.

I like a lot of things! Yemen, DACA, climate, reuniting kids and parents, Covid efforts, all good. I hope we’ll also see $2k/mo #DirectCashRelief, $15 an hour minimum wage and Medicare4All.

Marianne. $15 doesn’t matter if states insist on keeping the economy closed. Open up the country. That will be the biggest help to getting people back to work
