Now is a really bad time to change the rules at the expense of the American people. Heartless.

During my divorce from a 26 yr marriage/raising 4 kids/homeschooling them bcs they had needs that could not be met in our rural area, my and his lawyer couldn’t figure out my support because I didn’t have a paycheck so no data on my needs🧐It was abusive just like this nonsense.

It's utterly baffling watching Dems who can't get out of their own way even at a time when Republicans are in disarray. Do Dems really want to explain to people why they REDUCED the eligibility for $2K checks AFTER Republicans supported them a month ago? Bad policy and politics!

Just shows how out of touch politicians on both the left and right are with real people. They still think that $60k or $120k/per couple, is middle class. It's not. Most of these people still live paycheck to paycheck.

Yes ... and Janet Yellen, who probably earns six figures, is going to base that 60K on what people made in 2019 ... before the pandemic ... when many ... not all ... had jobs ... and many of those people don't have jobs anymore!
