America doesn't just act like we have a war on the poor; we also act like we have a war on our young. Whether someone is 5 yrs old or 20 yrs old, doing what we can to help young people get into the game educationally & economically is the only way to create a sustainable future.

Yep. I was basically thrown out on my ass at age 16. On my own... Yet people wonder why I'm not successful. I never had a foundation to start with. Just years of homelessness and survival. Can't thrive, if focusing on a way to survive... Truth

We are LITERALLY out of time for this "sustainable future" dream. It'll take a generation to shift the focus successfully (if we're lucky) and we have less than a generation of runway to be DONE with the transformation... not to START it.

1997-2010, I lived in a small Swiss border village ~ one family nearby were a Dutch man & Swedish woman; their two boys had 3 passports and four languages before they were in school (SE, NE, FR and EN)... Amazingly, other cultures pay teachers nearly as much as doctors... .

Its almost like the top 20% are solidifying their power. Feels like they are telling congress to cut the poor off completely. It will be a slow process of course. But something smells fishy...
