Walmart and Amazon took home $29.7 billion in profits last year. Call me a radical lefty, but we should tax the corporations profited during the pandemic and use the revenue to bailout the American people.
How about since the congress wants to "means test" for pandemic rescue checks, we "means test" for income taxes. If we make less than $100,000 a year we get 100% refund of our federal & state income taxes taken out of our paychecks. Any Takers?
Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and other billionaires made obscene amounts of money while denying their workers a living wage and the right to unionize.
A small tax on their money would change millions of lives for the better.
