There are millions of sick & elderly people in this country who live alone, have no caretakers to help them now, no money with which to buy food and no way to go get it anyway. There is an invisible strata of immeasurable suffering our system refuses to address although it could.

This is true, my wife’s grandma just passed away last week from COVID because she couldn’t find a caretaker at home. She was stuck at a rehab/nursing home. @NYGovCuomo should be responsible.

What you say is true ... but conservative Democrats and Republicans don't want to see this ... they look away ... someone needs to shame them!

This is so true. I've seen quite a number of Asian elders here who are out traveling by themselves and you can see how much pain they're in when they walk but they have no one else to help them.

Preach! Did you know that Medicare determines the # of post-stroke therapy sessions based on how long the stroke victim was hospitalized for? How many stroke victims went to the hospital in 2020? The EMTs told my mom specifically not to go when she had her stroke last Easter.

It is so devastating to me that people disregard human life as they do! Our government seems to be given the power to decide which lives matter more. We are a country that is supposed to based on “We the People” We all need to care for our elderly and for our children! Compassion

Many elderly living alone are not computer savvy and are being told to go online to register for Covid19 vaccine.

So stop tweeting and do something about! If @stoolpresidente can raise $35 million to help small businesses, surely you could make a difference too.

How do we change that system Marianne, do we back it even though we see it's obviously criminal? Both parties. You got anything?
