People in Washington are thinking about bipartisanship; tens of millions of Americans are thinking about the importance of eating a meal at least once a day.

Would be nice if we had one party that cares more about people vs partisan power politics. The Dems or Republicans aren't it.

Exactly... Bipartisanship doesn’t really matter to those who are suffering.

It's about time for people in Washington to act for the nation's interests rather than behaving like they are in some reality show and point scoring.

You’re so right, republicans don’t represent a majority of Americans. It’s time for them to do some soul searching.

There’s an argument for a political party that is conservative, budget minded, and pro- business as long as it represents where our country is. There’s just out of step completely.

Republicans don't think ordinary people deserve to survive in this world ... and especially during this pandemic ... they are happy to see people loose their jobs, their health Insurance and their homes ... They just don't care ... why would anyone want to compromise with them!

Also know, just because you keep hearing $1400. per person, it is still based on 2019 (a trad. year, not a Covid year) income. $600. may be the norm, even on lower income. And that was an amount fought for. We have a ways to go for parity.

Thinking about paying for internet, phone, gas, water, electricity, toilet paper, food, medicine, a roof over our heads......

"Bipartisan" is a red herring. It serves no real purpose. It's an impossibility and a time waster. It's the republicans demanding to be licked in a way they'd never lick anyone else. And zombie democrats just go along conscientiously, shuffling along muttering "bipartisanship"...

How did this gap get this large? How did the people who are running this country become soooooooo far removed from the needs of the American people? Greed, power and a lack of compassion cannot continue as the character traits of our Country. This nation must atone and make right
