$2k/mo, retroactively and for as long as the pandemic lasts, should be seen as a moderate, sane and moral response to a devastating emergency.

I totally agree ... If little England can pay 80 of someone's salary, Norway 75% and Canada 70% ... why are we ... the richest country in the world ... so stingy?

What do you think the USA is? A socialist haven like literally every other first world nation on earth that actually cares about it's citizens? It's called freedom! (Note: Freedom is actually living on the edge of homelessness every second of one's life.) UBI please

Bernie is fighting for us!! This must be seen as one of the bravest act in history to restore the United States to a place where everyone has equal value and is given a chance to elevate! This is a big decision...one that can change the course of history. What are we waiting for?

there is absolutely nothing moderate or sane about a proposal to distribute $2000 monthly until the pandemic ends. moral is a judgment call. America as 'home of the free' is fast becoming just that and it is unsustainable. we need to minimize the risks and get back to work.

As a foreigner looking in from the outside, it’s insane how long that discussion has been going on! You’re supposed to be the richest country in the world

We do not have a moral or ethical government except for a very few individuals.
