@marwilliamson on the Kristal Kyle podcast, you mentioned during your presidential campaign, you wish you had fought back more the attacks from media companies. How does that reconcile with “in my defenseless my safety lies” ACIM ?

That was exactly my question at the time. When I found myself ambushed on live TV, “In my defenselessness my safety lies” was exactly the line that came into my mind. I realize now that it didn’t mean I shouldn’t speak up for myself; it just means to do so without defensiveness.

1/2 Thank you Marianne for your wisdom. Once, my own “trusted“ counsel ambushed me because of his conflict of interest and I froze. Later, I couldn’t figure out in that situation how “in my defenselessness my safety lies“ applied.

it’s hard to speak up for myself without defensiveness when being thrown under the bus. Only after the fact, but then the damage is already done.
