Trickle down used to work. Rich factory owners at Christmas gave out a bonus & invested profits & expanded to hire more. When Hershy first built the amusement park it was for his employees. Many of them had Christmas for town kids. Greed took over & ethics gone.
2 seconds after hearing Reagan announce his "trickle down" policy I knew it we total BS. I'm not an economist but I'm amazed we have people who still buy into it.
This is misleading. People don’t realize the Reagan tax cuts were two-fold. The ‘82 cuts saw income increases across the board. It was the ‘87 cuts that hurt the middle class with wild inflation. He even admitted that the second cuts were his biggest mistake as president.
