How can we spend $1.9T on Covid relief and not include $2000 a month in #DirectCashRelief? I don’t get it.

The history of money printing and debt suggest the USA will eventually be known as the 'New Weimar Republic'.

@POTUS From what I understand Sen.Manchin wants more targeted relief; however, Dropping the direct payment limit to $50K (individual) is way too extreme and hurtful! If you must, reduce the $1,400 direct payments limit from $75K to $65K, so that Manchin will sign!

It makes more sense to use unemployment systems we have than cash handouts. If our country collapses from all the debt, then what?

The unemployment rate is 6.3% Marianne. The Republicans are right on this one. Increase unemployment compensation, lower the income ceiling and increase the payments. $1.9T is ridiculous. I don’t want to bail out poorly run states, just poor people.

Especially considering how much money the Fed has dumped just last year!
